I've found the answer people, the answer to all our shaving/waxing woes. Today, we're talking hair removal, who knew that was ever going to be a topic on my blog?! I just feel the need to spread the love for the epilator(/torture device).

Beauty : My Favourite Winter Lipsticks

I'm by no way a beauty blogger but I do really really like lipstick. If I'm wearing one it tends to be pretty bold, for some reason I can't be bothered with anything else. I'm either wearing a dark lip or nothing at all. Winter is the perfect time to crack out the dark lip. Here's a few of my favourites...

Hair: Temporary Hair Chalk Dip Dye and Giveaway

Now we all know my love for ombre hair - see my post here. I've also previously dip dyed the ends of my hair pink in my "rebellious" stage (ha ha ha). I was a quiet teenager. So when HairChalkCo contacted me with not only an opportunity to test out their products but to host a giveaway to, my inner 15 year old jumped at the chance to be young again.

Hair: DIY Ombre and Maintenance

During the exam period a couple of months ago I picked up some hair dye on a whim/"exam stress panic" and dyed the very tips of my hair blonde. I was really nervous so didn't want to do too much in case it went wrong and I had to chop it off. You can see the results on instagram here. I used the L'oreal Wild Ombre Preference No 1.

It's May, where did April go?! Well rather than monthly favourites, here's some things I've been loving lately.

Absolutely love this colour, Essie seems to be the only one that's not chipping on my nails at the moment so that's a good enough excuse to go and pick up some more colours. You can see the colour on my nails on instagram here.

Product Rave: Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick

This is my favourite lipstick/lipgloss hybrid of the moment. I always receive compliments on my lipstick when I wear it so they must be doing something right. I spent a long time deliberating which colour to get so it's only natural that I'll go pick up the rest of the colours some time soon but I decided to go for Ole Flamingo! Maybe because I quite liked the name...

Beauty: The Glamour Beauty Edit Box

I saw this pop up on a few blogs and thought it was about time I treated myself to some new beauty products. I used to be subscribed to Glossybox but as beauty boxes are pretty hit and miss I didn't feel like I was getting my money's worth.
This time I was extremely satisfied that the £16.95 I'd paid for this was completely worth with a couple of products I was going to purchase myself anyway.

Beauty: Current Haircare Favourites #1

Shampoo and Conditioner is something I tend to mix up on a regular basis but there are a few extras that I really think make a difference to my hair when I use them. I have quite dry and damaged hair from using the straighteners too much years ago. It's slowly beginning to improve with time and I owe some of that to these few products.

Beauty: Beauty Wants #1

1. Dr Bronner's Organic Peppermint Castile Liquid Soap. I've heard so many good things about this for cleaning makeup brushes so once I've ran out of baby shampoo I think this will be my next purchase.

I can't say I carry around many beauty items with me during the day, usually because I'm in so much of a rush in the morning. Two things I always keep to hand (ha, geddit) are from Soap & Glory.
