Recipe: Creme Egg Brownies

I made these at uni with my flatmate but there are already plans to make these again this week with my home friends.

There's not really any explanation as to why you should make these. Just do it. It is easter after all...
  • 185g dark chocolate
  • 185g unsalted butter
  • 85g plain flour
  • 40g cocoa powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 275g caster sugar
  • 6 Cadbury creme eggs (fridge cold)
Pop your creme eggs in the fridge and put the oven onto 180C before you start.
Melt the chocolate and butter together. In a separate bowl whisk sugar and eggs until it has doubled in volume. Add the melted chocolate and butter into the sugary egg mixture and then sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Once combined, pour into a brownie tin. Put in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Half the creme eggs and place onto the mix, then put it back into the oven for 10 minutes.
Let the brownies cool before cutting into slices.
Happy Easter!
